When I was 7 yrs old my dad was teaching me to swim. He would throw me into deep water and I would dog paddle back. Then he would throw me back out again. It was fun.
My dad was my inspiration. He was a honored navyman from WWII. He boxed men twice his size and won. He was smart and very disciplined. Everywhere he worked people respected...Expand for more
him and loved him. As I did very much. He taught me to love everything God made and to be a good person. I miss him a lot.
My obessions are very simple. To share my time and life with those I love.
The biggest surprise in my life is when things get bad and you're trapped in a corner who steps up to help. Yeah,it really hurts when the ones you thought would don't.
My kids raised me more than I raised them. They saved my life.
